Wedgwood
Wedgwood is the master-planned neighborhood in southwest Fort Worth bounded by Interstate 20 on the north, Granbury Rd on the northwest, Altamesa Blvd on the south, and McCart Ave and Westcreek Dr on the east. It was developed from the 1950s into the 1970s, and most of the houses are single-story ranches on wide lots with the air handler in the attic. The street names starting with W are the giveaway that you are inside it. Zip codes 76133 and 76132.

What Houses Out Here Have in Common
The 1950s and 60s ranch homes were built with the equipment in the attic or a closet off the hallway, ductwork run across the attic floor, and a condenser on a pad against a brick wall that faces the afternoon sun. Newer construction toward Sycamore School Rd runs more heat pumps and two-story layouts with a system per floor. We carry parts for both.
